As required by Section 21.010 of the Texas Labor Code, all new employees must receive the EEO training within the first 30 days of employment with the agency. This computer-based training course is provided to all new employees hired by the Department. New employees must complete the training and follow the instructions at the end of the course regarding submissions of documentation certifying completion of the training. Completion of this training module is also required of all agency employees every other year as a refresher course. All employees will be notified when their EEO training is required as a refresher and given specific timelines and instructions for completing it.
